रशियन डाइरेक्ट इंवेस्टमेंट फंड (आरडीआईएफ) के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) किरिल मित्रेव ने मंगलवार को सीएनएन के साथ एक साक्षात्कार में कहा कि रूस की कोरोना वैक्सीन स्पूतनिक वी की सुरक्षा के बारे में अमेरिका की चिंताओं को दूर करने के लिये रूस अमेरिका के एलर्जी एवं संक्रामक रोगों के राष्ट्रीय संस्थान के निदेशक एंथनी फौसी के साथ अपनी कोरोना वैक्सीन की पूरी जानकारी साझा करने के लिये तैयार है।
श्री मित्रेव ने हाल ही में श्री फौसी के बयान, जिसमें उन्होंने रूस की कोरोना वैक्सीन की सुरक्षा तथा क्षमता पर संदेह जताया था, का जवाब देते हुये कहा ” अगर वह हमें बुलाते हैं तो हम उन्हें वैक्सीन के बारे समझाकर खुश होंगे और मुझे लगता है कि यह उनके लिये सबसे अच्छा है कि वह इसका अध्ययन करें, यह समझने के लिये कि यह कैसे काम करती है। मुझे उम्मीद है कि फाउसी उन लोगों में से एक बन सकते हैं जो वास्तव में अमेरिका-रूस के बीच एक बड़े गैप को भर सकते हैं, अगर वह राजनीतिक नहीं हैं और रूस की वैक्सीन को थोड़ा और ध्यान से देखने की कोशिश करें तो। ”
